As Hinata's foot caused her to head for the ground, she landed on a hand and used the other to yank at the shuriken in the trees. This caused five of them to go straight towards Hinata as Fuyuko did a quick back flip out of the way.

She put her arms out in front of her to block the incoming shuriken. She falls to the ground in slow motion as she takes the hit, but she suddenly turns into a log.

Fuyuko's eye twitches a bit, 'Again with the damn logs...?' She thinks to herself, shaking her head a bit. She stays in her crouched position and closes her eyes, smiling a bit.

Hinata suddenly appeared behind Fuyuko, pushing her palm at the small of her back to close off some of her chakra points. "Four Palm!" she shouted.

Fuyuko opens her eyes and quickly puts a hand on the ground, pushing herself closer to the ground and kicking her legs out. Hoping to have Hinata's legs knocked out from under her as she narrowly avoided Hinata's hands. "No touchy~"

She managed to avoid her legs at the last second with a quick back-hand spring to avoid being knocked over and get some distance between them. She panted a bit, quickly resuming her Gentle Fist stance, secretly focusing some chakra outside her body to prepare for her next move.

Fuyuko pushed herself up, landing on her feet, in a crouched position. Using her right hand, she quickly yanks it to the right, causing the katana that was in the ground to be pulled out and head towards Hinata.

"Gentle Fist Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists!" she shouts. Hinata forms two large lion-like shrouds of chakra around her hands, then quickly thrusts them forward at Fuyuko, using it to completely throw off her aim and hopefully confuse her as she performed it in a spinning manner.

"Tch..." Fuyuko muttered, letting the katana drop and doing a few handsigns. Just as the lions were about to his Fuyuko, she disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving a log in her place. "Alrighty then..." Fuyuko muttered, sitting on a tree branch. She was grinning, and huffing a bit. "That was the longest fight I've had in a while...I'll admit, you got me tired." She said, scratching the back of her head.

She leaned up against a tree to stop and catch her breath. "S-Same here..." she agreed, panting a bit with a tired smile. "It was really good practice for me."

Fuyuko smiled, "Keep this up and I'm sure you can rank up in no time...if you want that is." She said, stretching out a bit and almost falling off the branch. "Nyee! ....I'm good."

She smiled a little. "I-I think I'll need to wait a while before I can rank up again...I just finished my first ranking exam." She watched Fuyuko nearly fall out the tree and she couldn't help but giggle a little. "Well that's good."

Fuyuko grinned over, "I have every confidence that in your next exam...you'll do amazing." She said, smiling. "I'm hoping to take Tsunade's place one day..." She added, glancing off. "Though, it's a long way....and it's out of my reach.."

She smiled a little and nodded. "I-I'm sure if you could if you worked hard enough." She suddenly frowned when she suddenly remembered Naruto. 'Naruto-kun...looks like you have some competition.' she thinks to herself.

Fuyuko grins, "I know what you're thinking...and I don't even have to read your mind, Hinata." She said, putting her hands behind her head. "It's gonna be hard...and if Naruto gets to be Hokage...I'll be very proud of him...he's a good kid." She said, smiling.

She quickly blushed out of embarrasement, but she decides to play it off with her usual shy smile. "I-I'll be rooting for both you and Naruto-kun..." she replied.

Fuyuko grinned widely and pulled Hinata into a small noogie. "Ahahah...I know most of you love is going towards Naruto~" She said, laughing. "And that's all good~"

She laughed nervously with a small sweat-drop as she gave her a noogie, ruffling her hair a little. "S-So you don't take it personally then...?"

Fuyuko smiled warmly, shaking her head. "Of course not! Why would I?" She said, crossing her arms. "I'm actually rooting for him as well, but it doesn't mean I'm giving up."

She smiled faintly. "Please don't give up...and I don't want Naruto-kun to give up either...I believe in him." she admits with a faint blush.

She nodded and giggled softly. "Y-Yes...I promise I'll work really hard...for myself and for Naruto-kun. I want him to be the one to watch me someday instead of me always watching him from afar."

She slowly nodded her head in agreement, her lips curving into a meek smile. "Y-Yeah, sounds good...did you have anything in mind? Like...ramen?" she guesses. "Or do you have a taste for something else?" she guessed.

(Oh, btw, Happy Birthday...well Belated Birthday to be precise. ^^)
